Clean room, friendly staff, with a coffee machine to prepare coffee and a large fridge for convenience.
The decor is quite dated.

I had such a cozy experience during my stay! The Superior King or Queen Room was impeccable and gave me that warm home-away-from-home vibe. Plus, the hotel was perfectly located, just a hop away from tons of fabulous dining options.
can recommend 😊❤️

I had a fun stay at Civic Center Motor Inn. The room felt cozy and clean, which made unwinding after exploring San Francisco delightful. However, the customer service could improve a bit, as the front desk was a tad unhelpful during check-in. Overall, a decent European-style Americana experience.

Pampalasa was a total gem, serving up some delicious dishes that made my foodie heart sing! We also hit up Sextant Coffee Roasters for a perfect brew—such a cozy vibe. Plus, the room we stayed in was comfy, which made unwinding after a long day easy-peasy.
The front desk attendant could use a lesson in kindness. My friend's checkout was a hassle as she ignored our requests for help, making the whole process unnecessarily tense. It's a shame because it took away from our overall experience.

Had an awesome group vacation with friends! We explored Union Square and took a ride on the cable cars, both just a few blocks away. The stay was comfortable and our room was clean, which we really appreciated. Just a heads up, parking isn’t included and costs extra, but it was a decent value overall.
However, the night shift service was a letdown. The staff member seemed unwilling to help when we needed change for a vending machine. It left us feeling frustrated during an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The Civic Center Motor Inn is super close to some bomb eateries like Pampalasa and India Garden. I scored a perfect cup of joe from Sextant Coffee Roasters every morning! Plus, super convenient place for nightlife. you’re just a hop away from bars and bistros all around.
Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The front desk attendant was rude and made checkout a whole ordeal. My friend was trying to pack up and got harassed instead of helped.

will be returning here soon
The room had a microwave and fridge, which was super handy. A flat-screen TV. The shower was nice, and the bathroom was stocked with body soap and shampoo. I loved the heated pool for some relaxation time. The carpets felt cozy, and everything was in good shape. Perfect setup for a quick stay!

I loved staying here with my boyfriend! It's ideally located just a few blocks from Union Square, so we could easily enjoy the shops and restaurants. Check-in was smooth, and the AC in our Superior King Room worked perfectly, keeping us comfortable during our stay.
My children wanted a cleaner area. the parking lot had some litter. It would be great if they could enhance the cleanliness around the property, especially for families with kids.

We had a lovely time staying here, it's just a few blocks from Union Square, making it super convenient to hit all the great spots. The staff was welcoming, which is always a plus when traveling with a small child. The AC worked perfectly, keeping us cool after busy days exploring the city.
In my wife’s opinion, the area could really use more cleanliness. Parking was tight and parents would appreciate designated spots closer to the entrance.

The convenient downtown location offered abundant food options, with a Costco just a block away. However, the noise levels were disruptive, especially with activity starting early in the breakfast area. Parking was limited, and there was a noticeable language barrier at check-in, affecting the initial experience.
